The biathlon World Cup and IBU Cup season 2024/2025 start in less than two weeks, with the IBU Junior Cup starting in less than a month. The British national teams are now named for the first trimester of season 2024/2025.

Kontiolahti, Finland, from November 30 to December 8; Idre Fjäll, Sweden, from November 28 to December 1; and Ridnaun-Val Ridanna, Italy, from December 12 to 15, are the places for this year’s biathlon World Cup, IBU Cup, and IBU Junior Cup premieres, respectively.

In a few posts on social media, the British Biathlon Union (BBU) has named their biathlon teams for the first trimester of the World Cup, IBU Cup, and IBU Junior Cup.

For the World Cup, Great Britain will start with one female biathlete at the World Cup stage 3 in France. For the IBU Cup, the country will begin with six athletes in Sweden, six in Norway, and three in Austria.

Last but not least, Great Britain will start the IBU Junior Cup in Italy with ten athletes and the Swiss stage with nine biathletes.
