IBU Cup: Ida Lien wins sprint in Idre Fjäll

The IBU Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Idre Fjäll, Sweden, with a 7.5km sprint race for women. After a fast day on the tracks and shooting range, Norwegian biathlete Ida Lien won the event with a solid performance.

Ida Lien, from Norway, took first place in the 7.5km women’s sprint biathlon race in Idre Fjäll with a total time of 21:27.0 and clean shooting.

Paula Botet, from France, snagged second place, 12.0 seconds back, and one penalty when shooting standing. Camille Bened, also from France, completed the podium in third place, 20.1 seconds behind the winner and with no penalties.

Then, the 2024/2025 IBU Cup season ends with two stages in Estonia (Otepää).
