Tomorrow, Saturday June 5, the new roller ski race Båstad-Mölle takes place in the south of Sweden.
The 57 km-long Challengers event has attracted some of the best Pro Team athletes such as Lina Korsgren, Team Ramudden and Stian Hoelgaard, Team Curira.
The race broadcasts live: https://www.facebook.com/www.langd.se at 15.25 CET.

“The athletes look forward to the race tomorrow. We are on our way out to test parts of the race course now,” says Team Curira’s new Pro Team Director Johan Kask.

The Norwegian Stian Hoelgaard makes his debut for his new Swedish Pro Team, Team Curira. With him is Klas Nilsson and the team’s recent acquisition Gabriel Thorn.

Theres will be a prestigious battle between Team Curira and Team Ramudden in the men’s race with their strong trio: Max Novak, Johannes Eklöf and Herman Paus.
“It will be an exciting battle against Team Ramudden, but there are also several other really strong roller ski specialists attending the race, says Johan Kask.

The women’s class is small but with strong names. Team Ramuddens Lina Korsgren and Ida Dahl, who dominated Visma Ski Classics Pro Tour in Season XI, are favorites. Together with them is the Pro Teams’ new acquisition Ida Palmberg. However, Jenny Larsson will not start the race.

The Team Ramudden trio will face Hedda Bångman, for the first time in her new team, Team Eksjöhus and one of Team Curira’s new acquisitions, Hanna Lodin.

The race starts at 15.30 and the live broadcast starts at 15.25 CET: https://www.facebook.com/www.langd.se

Start list and live results can be found here: https://www.vismaskiclassics.com/livecenter/bastad-molle/

The goal of the event is to develop it into a 100 km race. In the first year, however, the race course is 57 km.
