The Ski Classics Pro Tour Season XV is set to captivate ski enthusiasts with its exciting lineup of events. This season, spanning 15 races across 11 event weekends in 6 countries, promises an inspiring showcase of skill, determination, and fierce competition.

Season XV starts once again in the picturesque setting of Bad Gastein, Austria, offering a thrilling weekend of action. On Saturday, December 9, Pro Teams will face the Pro Team Tempo event, followed by the Bad Gastein Criterium on Sunday, December 10. The Criterium, characterized by a mass start and classic technique, unfolds through multiple loops, ensuring an intense spectacle for spectators. 

After Bad Gastein, another back-to-back event weekend awaits with La Venosta Criterium on Saturday, December 16, and La Venosta ITT – Individual Time Trial on Sunday, December 17, concluding the first segment of the season, just before Christmas and New Year.

After a well-deserved break, the Tour resumes with another Pro Tour event in Italy, the 3 Zinnen Ski Marathon (former Pustertaler Ski Marathon), on Saturday, January 13. Following the resounding success of the previous season and earning a prestigious top 3 spot at the coveted ‘Event of the Season’ award, the 62km long-distance race once again secures its place within the Ski Classics Pro Tour.

Switzerland takes the spotlight the following weekend with the Engadin La Diagonela on Saturday, January 20. This 55km long-distance race promises breathtaking scenery and intense competition. Returning to Italy, the first Grand Classics event of Season XV, Marcialonga, takes place on Sunday, January 28, marking the conclusion of the Alp segment in the Pro Tour circuit.

The Pro Tour takes a brief two-weekend hiatus before heading northeast to the second Grand Classics event, Jizerská50, on Sunday, February 11, with the Czech stage being the Central/Eastern European segment before heading to Scandinavia.

Orsa Grönklitt, in Sweden, becomes the next destination, hosting another back-to-back events weekend. On Saturday, February 17, the Grönklitt Classic awaits, followed by the Grönklitt ITT on Sunday, February 18. The Individual Time Trial is organized as an individual start competition, and the Pro Tour athletes will face a challenging 12km race.  

As the season climaxes, the last two Grand Classics events, Vasaloppet on Sunday, March 3, celebrating its 100th edition, and Birkebeinerrennet on Saturday, March 16, are set to leave a lasting impression. The final Grand Classics events will be followed by Reistadløpet on Saturday, April 6, and the Summit 2 Senja on Sunday, April 7, further intensifying the competition.

To conclude the remarkable Season XV in true splendor, Ski Classics introduces the Grand Finale concept, ending the season with a prestigious 100-kilometer race packed with action and show. 

The Ski Classics Grand Finale – Janteloppet, will take place in Norway on Saturday, April 13. This event marks the 15th and final Event of Season XV, serving as a celebration for all Pro Teams and their dedicated athletes.
