Sovereign2SilverStar Ski Marathon, a Ski Classics Challengers event, is a skating and classic long-distance skiing competition in Canada. Registration is already open, and you can enjoy special registration prices for a limited time.

Canada’s long-distance skiing event Sovereign2SilverStar Ski Marathon is a Ski Classics Challengers event with a 40km long-distance race in skating technique on April 1, and a 40km long-distance race in classic technique on April 2, 2023.

With point-to-party races starting at Sovereign Lake and ending on the Main Street of SilverStar village and flowing trails with approximately 800m of climbing, this course offers a challenge that is rewarded by fantastic views and fabulous conditions.

The two venues are above 1500m, so not only is there great early snow, but also lots of it through the season. This provides for plentiful late-season snow allowing great skiing conditions at the beginning of April. And at the same time of year, 1200m down in the Okanagan Valley, the paddling, hiking, road biking, mountain biking, and golf is already in full swing. The Okanagan Valley is also world famous for its fruit and wine, so extend your stay even further and enjoy all the Okanagan Valley has to offer. Extend it even longer and enjoy all that British Columbia has to offer!

Registrations are already open and can be accessed here
