by Leandro Lutz • 24.06.2022
Pro Tour Team eD system Silvini just finished their successful first training camp of the year, consisting of eight cycling stages in the Dolomites, Italy.

The Czech Pro Team stayed at Val di Fassa, in Pozzo di Fassa and every day, 2 to 3 cycling routes of varying difficulties were prepared. Each route had 100 to 160km with at least two, but mainly four large hills, so every athlete could choose in the morning which route they would ride according to fatigue.

The team used their spare time in the afternoon to stretch, jog, rollerski, or hike on one of the adjacent hills.

Famous mountain passes were visited: Karelpass, Pampeago, Pordoi, Campollongo, Falzarego, Valparola, Gardena, Sella, Fedaia, Pelegrino, Duran, Staulanza, Gardecia, Giau, Mangan and Negra.

“Well, it was just beautiful. The weather was nice and warm, but also at night, the surrounding hills wrapped us beautifully. This traditional training camp with road bikes in Italy has already had its 10th anniversary this year, and we will definitely continue with it,” says the Pro Team Director Marek Pazderský and continues:

“It was beautiful that both experienced and younger athletes met this year, and promising athletes from Roman Štvrtecký from Velké Karlovice joined us. In total, we cycled about 800 kilometers and climbed an incredible 20.000 meters. In addition, we must thank Peace Feig (Wolf), he took care of us all the time and drove with us an accompanying vehicle with refreshments. We are now moving to rollerskis, as the first three rounds of the EDS Skiroll Classics – Czech Cup on rollerskis are waiting for us this weekend in Šumava, in the middle of July in Velké Karlovice, and at the beginning of August in Rýmařov.”
