Comprising nine Pro Team athletes, four women and five men, from the Czech Republic, Germany, Sweden, and France: Hedda Bångman (1995), Karolína Grohová (1990), Anna-Marie Hejná (1999), Hanna Fine (2000), Thomas Bing (1990), Fabián Štoček (1994), Jan Šrail (1990), Václav Sedláček (1986), and Aleš Bohatý (1996).

On the male side, Thomas Bing has been the most successful athlete with several top-10 places on the Pro Tour, and he finished 13^th in the Champion competition last season. Fabián Štoček were flying on the Marcialonga tracks as he finished 16^th in the race while Jan Šrail had his best day at La Venosta Criterium where he managed to be the 26^th best male skier. Additionally, Václav Sedláček can be a top-40 finisher on a perfect day.

Hedda Bångman is the most accomplished female skier in the team with many top-10 places under her belt. She finished 18^th in the Champion competition, and her aim is to be closer to the podium in Season XVI. Karolína Grohová has been around for some time now, and she is a solid top-15 skier in Ski Classics.

The rest of the team is still relatively fresh in the Ski Classics circuit, but they are ready and willing to spread their wings and aim high when the new season kicks off.

For Season XVI, the eD system Vltava Fund Team will keep the long tradition in Ski Classics and will fight to be one of the best non-Scandinavian Pro Teams in the circuit.

“The eD system Vltava Fund Team was created by combining two strong teams that have been active in Ski Classics since the very beginning. The newly formed team will try to turn this long tradition in classic long-distance racing into the strongest team outside of Scandinavia,” says the Pro Team Director Marek Pazderský and adds:

“The team’s core consists of leading Czech skiers, complemented by experienced team leaders Thomas Bing from Germany and Hedda Bångman from Sweden.”

eD system Vlatava Fund Team motto is simple: “Skiing is everything to us, enjoyable, and we do it with our hearts, but at the same time we take nothing lightly and try to create the conditions for our skiers to be competitive,” says the Pro Team Director and concludes:

“We go to races and training camps with the race team and our other members, of which we currently have around 200. We all try to be as prepared as possible. In addition, we organize several races in roller skiing (e.g., Lipnolopet) and long-distance skiing (e.g., BoBolopet 90km).”
