ELIASSEN STILL ON TOP OF THE SC RANKING AFTER JIZERSKÁ 50

Petter Eliassen, Team Ragde Eiendom, keeps his first position in the SC ranking, the global ranking system for long distance skiers, after Jizerská 50. Tord Asle Gjerdalen, Team XPND Fuel of Norway, and Morten Eide Pedersen, Team Nordic Athlete, also retain second and third place.

Eliassen now has 29,895,426 points after finishing fourth in Jizerská 50. Yesterday’s runner-up Gjerdalen has 29,176,707 in second place, and Eide Pedersen, seventh yesterday, had 28,894,606 in the third position.

Yesterday’s women’s winner, Lina Korsgren, Team Ramudden, is still in the fifth position in the ranking while the male winner Emil Persson, Lager 157 Ski Team, steps up from ninth to seventh.

Moving up among the top ten athletes is also Oskar Kardin, Team Ragde Eiendom, from tenth to sixth place and Max Novak, Team Ramudden, goes from 15th to ninth.

Notable in the top 20 is that Anders Aukland, Team Ragde Eiendom, continues to climb. The 48-year-old legend goes from 21th to 16th place. Ida Dahl, Team Ramudden, second in Jizerská 50, second in the Champion competition, and the Youth competition leader, climb from 26th to 20th.

Athletes stepping up in the top 50 in the following: Klas Nilsson, Team Curira (32-26), Nils Persson, Team Engcon (46-38), Petter Soleng Skinstad, Team Coop (47-41), Jenny Larsson, Team Ramudden (50-42), Ermil Vokuev, Russian Winter Team (52-44) and Johannes Eklöf, Team Ramudden (53-47).

If we look in the ranking list, between 50 and 100, some athletes move up ten positions or more. Anton Karlsson, Lager 157 Ski Team (72-62), Olga Tsareva, Russian Winter Team (87-77), Herman Paus, Team Ramudden (93-81), Francesco Ferrari, Sottozero Trentino Team Zorzi Max (95-82), Arnaud Du Pasquier, Team Féclaz Formation (98-87) and Hannen Mäenpää, Team Nordic Athlete (107-96). Outside top 100 Nico Koskela, Team Nordic Athlete, takes a big leap from 174th to 130th.

The SC Ranking is open for all participants in all Visma Ski Classics event, Pro Tour and Challengers. The SC ranking is open for both professional and recreational skiers, including all age groups, gender, and performance levels.
