The Visma Ski Classics Challengers event Arctic Alta Skimaraton took place today with a 42km race in freestyle technique in Alta, Norway.

The Visma Ski Classics Challengers event Arctic Alta Skimaraton took place today with a 42km race in freestyle technique in Alta, Norway.

At the end of the day, the Visma Ski Classics Challengers event saw Finn Hågen Krogh, Tverrelvdalen IL, and Ida Finjord, Alta IF/Team Skigo Frydenbø, win the race with outstanding performances.

In the men’s competition, the winner was Finn Hågen Krogh, Norwegian National Team/Tverrelvdalen IL, followed by Eirik Frost, Alta IF, in second place, and Simen Finjord, Alta IF/Team Skigo Frydenbø, in the third position.

In the women’s race, Ida Finjord, Alta IF/Team Skigo Frydenbø, won ahead of Henriette Mikkelsen Suhr, Alta IF, in second place. Charlotte Åsland, Alta, completed the podium in the third position.

As Arctic Alta Skimaraton is a Visma Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective gender.
