This Pro Team is gearing up for its first season in Ski Classics. There will be three French Pro Teams for Season XV, and the i3 Ski Team is one of them.

The i3 Ski Team emerged from the Team Feclaz Formation Longue Distance project founded three years ago, in May 2020, by Marc Desseux, Pierre Belingheri, and Emilien Buisson, with a double purpose: train young athletes both on traditional distances and introduce them to long-distance racing, initially in France.

The project made good progress over the years, and now, the new i3 Ski Team by CS La Féclaz wants to introduce the oldest and most successful athletes to the highest level, allowing them to discover Ski Classics.

For the upcoming Ski Classics Season XV, the French squad is bringing seven Pro Team athletes, three women and four men: Solène Faivre (2000), Océane Bepoix (1999), Suzette Christin (2004), Pierre Belingheri (1988), Nathan Jouannon (2000), Simon Vuillet (2000), and Mathieu Goalabre (2000).

“The team’s goal is to participate in the Ski Classics to provide our athletes medium- and long-term prospects. For Ski Classics, we truly aim to establish ourselves among the top teams on the circuit in the medium term, top 10 or better, and professionalize our team to give our athletes opportunities of ambitious careers,” says Marc Desseux, Pro Team Director for the i3 Ski Team, and elaborates about the team’s strength:

“The strength of our team lies in the ‘pool’ of athletes present in the FFLD Training Center. The ambition for these young athletes to join the Ski Classics group will be a goal for some and a real added value for the Pro Team in terms of recruitment. We also aim to promote women’s sport and provide real career prospects for female athletes.”

This French Pro Team has excellent potential, and they will fight tooth and nail for the title of the best French Pro Team in the upcoming season.
