ITALIAN PRO TEAM ATHLETES PERFORMED WELL
Yesterday some Italian Pro team athletes attended their first races this winter, held in Italy. They conquered good results and showing that Italian Pro teams are ready for the start of Season XI.
After a long wait for the start of the racing season, due to Covid-19 restrictions, Italian Pro teams this Sunday showed that they are well prepared for the start of Visma Ski Classis Season XI. The three Italian Pro teams got impressive results in several races.
Team Robinson Trentino raced at Base Tuono Marathon, a 30 kilometers race in skating technique in northern Italy, at the Alpe di Coe – Folgaria. Florian Cappello and Lorenzo Busin finished 1st and 2nd and Patrick Klettenhammer finished in 4th place. Also Team Futura Trentino Alta Quota has reasons to celebrate. At the same event, the Italian Pro team got the best team’s trophy at the Italian Masters Championship.
Sottozero Trentino Team Zorzi Max-Orsaiec also participated in the event. Francesco Ferrari finished 3rd, Mauro Brigadoi 5th, Christian Lorenzi 6th and Gabriel Kohl 7th. On the women’s side, Stefania Corradini conquered 2nd place at a 10km race in classic technique held in Cogne.
