KLARÄLVSLOPPET TAKES PLACE TOMORROW
The 90-kilometer roller-ski race Klarälvsloppet, a Challengers event, sets off tomorrow at 9 am CET when the elite men start their race. At 9:05 am CET the women will follow on the course that goes from Hagfors to Karlstad in Sweden.
Klarälvsloppet is the longest roller-ski event in Sweden and the trail cuts right through the Värmland countryside following the course of the river Klarälven, a 90-kilometer asphalted nature trail. The race is inclassic technique, and there are both elite and recreational participants.
Thrilling fights are expected as many Pro Team athlets fight for the victory in tomorrow’s race. Among the favorites we can find such names as Team Ramudden’s Max Novak, Johannes Eklöf, Herman Paus and Lina Korsgren, the winner of the women’s race in 2019, Team Ragde Charge’s Andreas Nygaard and Kasper Stadaas, Team Curira’s Stian Hoelgaard, Klas Nilsson and Gabriel Thorn, Team Kaffebryggeriet’s Vetle Thyli, Magnus Vesterheim and Stian Berg, the winner of the 2019 edition, Team Nordic Experience’s Antoine Auger, Thomas Joly and Arnaud Du Pasquier, Marie Renee Gansø from Team ParkettPartner Sjusjøen, and Hanna Falk from Lager 157 Ski Team. Petter Northug will also participate in the race.
