by PROXCSKIING • 09.06.2022
The 157 XCC Rollerskitour was launched today with a total of five competitions in Sweden.

“The ambition has been there for many years. Now it was possible to make plans a reality,” says Anton Järnberg, Pro Team Director at Lager 157 Ski Team.

According to a press release, the new rollerski tour will start on August 14 and end on October 8. In total, five competitions will take place in western Sweden.

“We want to be involved and contribute to strengthening the competitions and help them take another step. And we hope that the elite and recreational skiers take the chance and participate in the competition,” says Anton Järnberg.

Five competitions are included in the roller ski tour, and there will be a total cup standing for the series. The competition starts in Tanumhede on August 14, and during the next almost two months, there will be five competitions in total, until the final event, which is Lager 157 Ski Team’s race, on October 8:

“We had a premiere for it during the pandemic, as a training competition. Now it will be fun to welcome everyone to start that competition and all the other events on the tour.”

How do you view the interest in rollerskiing in Sweden?

“It was very high a few years ago, but in recent years it has been a little quieter, but we want to be involved and contribute to increasing the interest again,” says Järnberg.
