Bruse Sauerland Ski Team strengthens its Pro Team squad for Ski Classics Season XVI with a new signing. The Swedish athlete Madelene Nord is joining the German Pro Team.

Bruse Sauerland Ski Team is preparing for the Ski Classics Season XVI (2024/2025) and has announced a new skier. Swedish athlete Madelene Nord is joining the ranks of the German Pro Team. 

Nord is a long-distance and traditional cross-country skier who is now entering the world of Ski Classics Pro Tour with the Bruse Sauerland Ski Team. The athlete has started in 7 Pro Tour Events and 8 Challengers, and her most significant achievements so far in Pro Tour events are 38th at GrĂśnklitt Criterium 2023 and 45th at Vasaloppet 2023.

A post on social media announced the signing:

“New addition to the Bruse Sauerland Ski Team! Welcome, Madelene @madelenenords

Last season, she finished 2nd place overall at the 157 XCC Originals and 26th place at Tjejvasan.

After a summer full of action, she is ready and thrilled for the upcoming ski season! We are happy to have her on the team and can’t wait to start the races.”

Ski Classics Pro Tour Season XVI

The Ski Classics Pro Tour Season XVI is set to captivate ski enthusiasts with its exciting lineup of events. The upcoming season, spanning 14 events across 10 event weekends in 6 different countries, promises an inspiring showcase of skill, determination, and fierce competition. 

The upcoming Season XVI kicks off in Bad Gastein, Austria, on December 13, 2024, with the Pro Team Presentation and ends in Finnsnes, Norway, with the Ski Classics Grand Finale Summit 2 Senja on March 30, 2025. Throughout the Pro Tour, Pro Team athletes will cover an impressive distance of 663 racing kilometers.
