Many Changes In The SC Ranking After The Weekend

The Ski Classics Ranking saw many changes after Pustertaler Ski Marathon and Prato Piazza Mountain Challenge. Emil Persson, Lager 157 Ski Team, keeps his first position in the SC Ranking, the global ranking system for long-distance skiers.

The Ski Classics Ranking saw many changes after Pustertaler Ski Marathon and Prato Piazza Mountain Challenge. Emil Persson, Lager 157 Ski Team, keeps his first position in the SC Ranking, the global ranking system for long-distance skiers.

After an intense weekend, Emil Persson, Lager 157 Ski Team, has now 26,299,058 points after winning both Pustertaler Ski Marathon and Prato Piazza Mountain Challenge, the fourth and fifth Pro Tour events of Ski Classics Season XIV. 

In the SC Ranking, Persson is followed by Ida Dahl, Team Engcon, who won the Pustertaler Ski Marathon and was third at Prato Piazza Mountain Challenge. Dahl now has 25,634,041 points.

Astrid Øyre Slind, Team Aker Dæhlie, is now in third place with 25,235,943 points after winning Prato Piazza Mountain Challenge. Andreas Nygaard, Team Ragde Charge, dropped one position to fourth place with 25,001,087 points. 

Moving up among the top 10 athletes is Kasper Stadaas, Team Ragde Charge, from 10th to 8th place, with 24,332,739 points, and Emilie Fleten, Team Ramudden, from 13th to 9th place, with 24,085,172 points. Max Novak, Team Aker Dæhlie, is dropping from 8th to 10th place in the SC Ranking after the weekend, with 24,076,292 points.

Among the Top 10, five Pro Tour skiers are from Sweden, and five are from Norway.

Notable in the top 20 is that Stian Hoelgaard, Team Aker Dæhlie, continues to climb. The Norwegian Pro Tour skier goes from 15th to 14th place. Herman Paus, Team Ramudden, rise from 17th to 16th place.

Also in the top 20 is Torleif Syrstad, Lager 157 Ski Team, going from 23rd to 19th position.
