Mauro Brigadoi And Malin Börjesjö Take The Top Spots At Dolomitenlauf

Celebrating 53 years, Dolomitenlauf, a Ski Classics Challengers event, took place today with a 42km long-distance race in classic technique in Obertilliach, Austria.

With the participation of hundreds of skiers in the main event and a strong presence of Pro Tour athletes, the great winners of the Ski Classics Challengers event were Mauro Brigadoi and Malin Börjesjö, both from Team Internorm Alpenplus Trentino.

DOLOMITENLAUF – MEN’S RACE

The action in the men’s event was intense until the final meters of the race, with the decision for the podium places remaining for the exciting final sprint. 

With a total time of 2:03:45.6, Mauro Brigadoi, Team Internorm Alpenplus Trentino, became the winner, followed by Fabián Štoček, Vltava Fund Ski Team, in second place, and Francesco Ferrari, Team Internorm Alpenplus Trentino, in third place.

DOLOMITENLAUF – WOMEN’S RACE

In the women’s event, the competition was also exciting. Pro Tour athlete Malin Börjesjö, Team Internorm Alpenplus Trentino, completed the 42km race in 2:21:54.5, giving no chance to the rest of the field.

Second place went to Adéla Ročarková, Kästle Ski, with Pro Tour athlete Anna Schmidhofer, Ski-Willy Marathon Team Austria, completing the podium in third place.

As Dolomitenlauf is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective gender.
