MAXIM VYLEGZHANIN AND OLGA TSAREVA WERE THE WINNERS OF LAKE SAIMAA ROLLER-SKI MARATHON
Visma Ski Classics Challengers event Lake Saimaa Roller-ski Maraton took place today in Imatra, Finland. The 60 km long course was raced in classic technique in cloudy September weather.
Russian Winter Team was victorious as both Maxim Vylegzanin and Olga Tsareva won their respective races. Alexey Shemiakin was second in the men’s race and Ville Ahonen third. In the women’s race, Anni Kainulainen was second and Heli Heiskanen third.
As Lake Saimaa Roller-ski Marathon was a Visma Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes were able to collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in respective gender.
All participants of Lake Saimaa Roller-ski Marathon receive points for their SC ranking which they can check by logging in for free to MyPages.
