The Visma Ski Classics Pro Tour Event 3 and 4 of Visma Ski Classics Pro Tour Season XII will not be held in Misurina. There are new event locations nearby in Pustertal instead: Saturday January 8th 62km Pustertaler Ski Marathon and Sunday January 9th 32km Prato Piazza Mountain Challenge.

The 62km Pustertaler Ski Marathon on January 8th starts in Sexten and finishes in Niederdorf. There will be a Sprint at the Nordic Arena in Toblach after 21km, and a Climb at Cimabanche after 39 km.

The Sunday event change from an individual time trial to a 32km uphill mass start called Prato Piazza Mountain Challenge. The start is in Niederdorf and the finish up at Prato Piazza.

“Misurina has been struggling with the permissions to hold our events, and we have therefore decided to move the two competitions to nearby locations in the beautiful surroundings of the Dolomites. Both days there will be challenging competitions with the 62km mass start on Saturday and a very interesting 32km mountain challenge on Sunday, this so-called plan B is most likely even better than the original plan, so we look forward to the upcoming events! Says David Nilsson, CEO Visma Ski Classics.

In addition to the two Pro Team events, there will also be races for recreational skiers on both days. More info here
