The FIS Cross-Country World Cup in Les Rousses will not be rescheduled.

Wednesday evening, the FIS announced that the cross-country World Cup in Les Rousses in France, which was cancelled due to the resurge of Covid-19, will not be rescheduled.

“After having checked alternatives with potential National Ski Federations, FIS Cross-Country can confirm that the World Cup events planned in Les Rousses (FRA) will not be rescheduled or relocated to another venue,” the FIS says in a press release.

The option to add one additional competition day at the FIS Cross-Country World Cup in Planica (SLO) is currently being evaluated. More news will follow as soon as available.

Earlier this afternoon, the International Olympic Committee confirmed that the 2022 Olympics will be held according to schedule, from February 4 to 20, 2022.
