PRO TEAM PRESENTATION: TEAM XPND FUEL
Team XPND Fuel from Norway is run by the two-time Champion and Vasaloppet winner Tord Asle Gjerdalen. There are seven athletes in the Pro Team, but there is also a a junior team with 11 skiers ranging from 13-16 years of age.
The team signed Emilie Fleten from Team Koteng this year, and she finished third in the Champion competition and managed to get six podium places last season.
In addition to Gjerdalen and Fleten’s podium places, the team has several top-50 places in the men’s category and some top-30 places in the women’s one. Kristoffer Nielsen, Ingeborg Dahl and Barbro Sætha return to racing after a year-long hiatus from Visma Ski Classics.
