This upcoming winter, January 16 to 19, 2025, the 12th edition of the Swiss cross-country ski weekend takes place in the magnificent Engadin Valley. The event has for the coming winter record numbers of participants, +40,8% compared to the previous year, two months ahead of the event.

“We are delighted that Engadin La Diagonela 2025 is heading towards a new record in participant numbers. To date, over 1,060 enthusiastic cross-country skiers have registered for the January races – an increase of around +40% compared to last year. This growth reflects the rising excitement for cross-country skiing and confirms the dedication of our region and our partners. One reason for this increase is also our new, user-friendly registration platform, SC registration system, which, thanks to its connection to Ski Classics family, targets a new wide audience,” says Ramun Ratti, Head of Engadin La Diagonela and adds:

“Preparations are in full swing, and we look forward to offering all participants and spectators an unforgettable experience in the winter landscape of Engadin. Our goal is to provide everyone with a memorable event amidst our unique scenery and to spread the enthusiasm for cross-country skiing. We are eagerly anticipating the upcoming races and a fantastic weekend this January!”
