Samanta Krampe And Toms Veits Win Latloppet

The Visma Ski Classics Challengers event, Latloppet, took place today with a 32km race in classic technique in Madona, Latvia.

At the end of the day, the Visma Ski Classics Challengers event saw Samanta Krampe, SS Arkadija, and Toms Veits, Rauza, win the race with great performances.

In the women’s race, Samanta Krampe, SS Arkadija, won with a time of 1:39:06.4, more than 8 minutes ahead of Sanita Ukina, Adazi, in second place. Elita Zalite, Smiltene/TRX Cesis, completed the podium in third.

In the men’s competition, the winner was Toms Veits, Rauza, with a time of 1:24:22.5, followed by Rait Pallo, Otepää/AT Sport, 57 seconds behind, and Ainis Kanavins, Aizkraukle/SSK Bebra, in the third position. 

As Latloppet is a Visma Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective gender.
