Seebacher and Bohatý Winners of Gastein Classics

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Gastein Classics, took place this Saturday with a 30km long-distance race in classic technique in Sportgastein, Austria.

After a day full of action at Gastein Classics, the Ski Classics Challengers event in Austria saw Anna Seebacher, Adidas XCS Team, and Aleš Bohatý, eD system Silvini Team, win the race with solid performances.

In the women’s competition, the winner was Anna Seebacher, Adidas XCS Team, with a total time of 1:24:51.6. 

Tosca de Wit, SLT, finished in second place, with a time of 1:30:01.3, followed by Veronika Mayerhofer, with a total time of 1:32:47.7, and completing the podium in the third position.

In the men’s race, the winner Aleš Bohatý, eD system Silvini Team, completed the race in a time of 1:09:36.3. 

Dario Cologna, Team Aker Dæhlie, finished in second place, with a total time of 1:09:40.0, followed by Rick Hoenderop, Team Vasasport.nl, completing the podium in the third position and a total time of 1:09:58.8.

As Gastein Classics is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective gender.
