Last week, Team Engcon announced that Ida Dahl and Eddie Edström would be joining the team for next winter. Now, 24-year-old Anton Elvseth is joining the Swedish Pro Team.

“Anton is a very exciting skier. He has lived in Norway for several years, and a person who will fit into our team both as a person and as a skier. He feels complete,” says Pro Team Director Jerry Ahrlin to Langd.se.

What are Elvseth strengths?

“He has very good speed in double poling and showed at the Swedish Championships that he holds a really high class. Then it is always difficult to know how to stand the first year in Ski Classics, but Anton is a sharp skier who will fit in well with our team,” concludes Ahrlin.

Elvseth, who races for Offerdal Ski Club, was 11th, 12th, and 16th in the classic style races at the Swedish Championships last winter. At long-distance events, Anton finished 2nd at the Ski Classics Challengers event Flyktningerennet 2022 and 4th at Östersund Ski Marathon 2020. And in 2021, he was the 87th at Vasaloppet.

Now the Ski Classics Pro Tour waits for the talented athlete.
