The Swedish Pro Team is gearing up for its third season in Ski Classics. After securing the 13th position in the Pro Team ranking during Season XIV with 728 Pro Team points, the squad is now looking forward to the upcoming winter season.

Maintaining their commitment to collaborating with local companies in the Gnosjö region, Ski Team Göhlins is poised to embark on a continued chapter of development for both the team and its talented athletes.

As they gear up for the season ahead, the Pro Team recently gathered at their home ground in Gnosjö for an intensive kickoff training camp.

“We had the chance to bring together the entire team of skiers, leaders, and service staff and discuss the future and how we should continue to develop ourselves. In addition, we had the privilege of meeting some of our valued partners, which was very rewarding and nice,” says Pro Team Director Simon Jonsson.

Demonstrating the growing enthusiasm for long-distance skiing in the local area, several of Ski Team Göhlins’ athletes started in the third stage of the ‘GGVV-cup’ training roller skiing competition, which took place last Sunday. The event boasted over 50 starters, highlighting the community’s strong interest in long-distance skiing.

Looking ahead, the team has a lineup of roller ski competitions and training camps planned for this summer. Pro Team Director Simon Jonsson emphasized the team’s commitment to rigorous training and having fun throughout the summer months, ensuring they will be well-prepared for the upcoming winter season.

“We will train a lot and have a lot of fun this summer, so we will certainly be well prepared for the winter. The feeling after the first weekend is that it is an enthusiastic group eager for a lot of training and competition this summer,” added the Pro Team Director.

As they prepare for Ski Classics Season XV, Ski Team Göhlins proudly unveils its roster of Pro Team athletes.
