In a post on social media, Team Næringsbanken Stora Enso unveiled the new addition to their Pro Team roster for the upcoming Ski Classics Season XV.

Team Næringsbanken Stora Enso, the Norwegian Pro Team, which secured a commendable 7th place overall in the Pro Team ranking during Season XIV, recently unveiled their squad for the upcoming season and proudly announced the signing of Julie Kvale Støstad, a former soccer player for Stabæk club.

Taking to Instagram, Team Næringsbanken Stora Enso shared the news:

“Julie Kvale Støstad, 24 years old, from Drammen, Norway, is a new skier on the team for the next season. Julie is going into her first season in long-distance skiing, and she previously played soccer for Stabæk.”

Julie herself expressed her anticipation for the forthcoming season and shared her aspirations:

What is your goal for the 2023/2024 season in Ski Classics?

“My aim is to secure a top 20 finish in one of the races.”

Besides being a long-distance skier, what else do you do?

“I work as a personal trainer and as an online coach.”

What’s your best result so far in Ski Classics?

“I’ve never done any Ski Classics races before so it will be an exciting season.”

What are your impressions of the Ski Classics Season XV calendar?

“I think it looks really good with many cool races that I’m looking forward to!”

What particular highlights are you most anticipating in the upcoming season?

“I’m most looking forward to experiencing the Ski Classics circus and doing some of the big races. Marcialonga is going to be fun!”
