This coming weekend, the Swedish Roller-ski Championships will take place in Tanum. On Saturday, there is 20 km skating race with an interval start and on Sunday, a 40 km mass start race in classic technique. Several strong long-distance skiers will start such as Erik Silfver, Alfred Buskqvist, Johannes Eklöf, Marcus Johansson, Max Novak and Julia Angelsiöö.
The mass start competition is also a seeding race for Vasaloppet and in addition to the elite class, there is also one for recreational skiers. The athlete in the picture is Erik Silfver, IFK Umeå/Team ES Endurance, one of the favorites to win the race.
