The Ski Classics Challengers event Tanumsloppet is a 40km long-distance race in classic technique taking place this Saturday, August 10, 2024, in Tanumshede, Sweden.

Tanumsloppet takes place in Tanumshede, in the west of Sweden, and once again, as a Ski Classics Challengers event (40km roller ski race).

The Ski Classics Challengers event is a 40km long-distance roller ski race in classic technique, and the organizers invite professional athletes, recreational skiers, and youth athletes to an event with an enjoyable course with scenic landscapes and a good road surface.

The roller ski track is relatively flat and suits all levels of roller skiers. The main race distance, part of Ski Classics Challengers, is 40km, while a shorter distance of 22km is also offered.

According to the Local Organizing Committee, during the race, participants can enjoy typical “Bohuslänsk” nature with open landscapes and small mountains on the way.

Tanumsloppet is also a seeding race for Vasaloppet.
