Team Edux Trains in Levi & Livigno
Noora Kivikko has already been up north for two weeks, and she has trained together with Terhi Pollari from Team Nordic Jobs Worldwide. The rest of the team will join Noora in Levi on Sunday, and they will stay there until December 11.
Eric Storvall, the team director, decided to follow the footsteps of many other Pro Team athletes and headed to the sunny Livigno, Italy. He spent two weeks training at high altitude and eating good carbo-filled Italian food. After an intensive training period, he is now having an easy to week in order to recover before the next training camp.
Niko Koskela, who managed to be in the top-10 in two stages of the Pro Tour a couple of years ago and won Tartu Marathon in 2019, and Olli Tyrvänen have taken part in some standard distance races in Finland with great results. Both athletes are in good shape and ready to meet their Pro Tour rivals come Season XII.
The team’s Swedish recruit Erik Silfver raced at the Swedish Season Premiere in Gällivare and finished 16th in the sprint competition and was the fifth fastest skier in the time trial. He is excited about the upcoming season and wants to support his Finnish teammates in the races to come.
Team Edux is one of the four Finnish Pro Teams this coming season, and they aim to get good positions in the Pro Tour races, both in the men and women’s categories. They also aim to improve their current Pro Tour ranking of 24th.
