TEAM EKSJÖHUS SIGNS A NEW ATHLETE FROM SWEDEN
The other day, it was announced that Ari Luusua, the most successful Finnish athlete in Visma Ski Classics, is going to retire from active racing. As a result, Team Eksjöhus lost its new recruit even before the Visma Ski Classics Season XII started.
Now, however, the team has signed a new skier Eric Rosjö from Sweden who represents IFK Mora SK and is part of the national c-team group Team Svenska Spel.
“We are very pleased to present Eric Rosjö as the new skier in Team Eksjöhus,” says Espen Trældal, Sports Director.
Rosjö finished third at the Swedish Championships in the 30 km race this past winter and took an impressive 18th place at Vasaloppet.
Erik was born in 1998 and is therefore only at the start of his skiing career. Eric continues to focus on traditional skiing but will, when possible, represent Team Eksjöhus in Visma Ski Classics.
“Eric is a skier that I, as a resident of Småland, have followed a little extra for many years and I am proud to include him in the team,” says Team Eksjöhus team manager Oskar Svärd.
A few weeks ago, Rosjö became the tenth man at Alliansloppet, third Swede a few centimeters behind his clubmate in IFK Mora SK Axel Jutterström, with whom he now also becomes a teammate.
