These coffee athletes from Norway and Sweden have been around Ski Classics for some time now. After securing the 9th position in the Pro Team ranking during Season XIV, Team Kaffebryggeriet is now looking forward to the upcoming winter and stepping up on the podium.

Team Kaffebryggeriet has six Pro Team athletes, four men and two women, ready to fight for points and a podium place this winter. For Season XV, the squad counts on its experienced roster of five athletes from Norway and one from Sweden: Oda Nerdrum (1995), Magnus Vesterheim (1994), Fredrik Helgestad (1997), Simen Ramstad (1996), Vetle Thyli (1989), and Anna Jönsson Haag (1986).

“Team Kaffebryggeriet is a small team located in Lillehammer. Almost the whole team, both athletes and service, is living in Lillehammer, or the nearby area,” says Pro Team Director Torstein Vetli and elaborates on the Pro Team’s strengths:

“Our team’s key strength is our close relationship with each other. When Team Kaffebryggeriet is on tour, we are a big family traveling together. It’s always fun to be a part of the team! This also makes the guys in the service team very well included in the group, which gives them a lot of energy to work hard to make fast skis.”

For Ski Classics Season XV, the Norwegian Pro Team is aiming high: “Last season, our best result was Magnus Vesterheim’s fourth place at Birkebeinerrennet. Our goal for Season XV is, of course, to step up on the podium! In addition, Simen Ramstad, new to the team this year, has the ambition to fight for the Green Sprint bib,” concludes Torstein Vetli.
