Toppidrettsvekan continued today with a three-kilometer uphill race with both double-poling and skating techniques. The climb had a gradual ascent, and the racers faced a total climb of 240 meters.

The women’s double-poling competition was won by Marte Skaanes followed by a group of Visma Ski Classics Pro Team athletes. Lina Korsgren from Team Ramudden was second 3.5 seconds behind the winner. Emilie Fleten, Team XPND Fuel of Norway was third, Marit Bjørgen, Team Ragde Charge, fourth and Britta Johansson Norgren, Lager 157 Ski Team, fifth.

In the men’s race, Mikael Gunnulfsen, the Reistadløpet winner in 2019, was the fastest climber, but he was closely followed by two strong Team Ramudden skiers Johannes Eklöf and Max Novak, both less than three seconds behind the winner. Morten Eide Pedersen, Team Eksjöhus, was fourth and Martin Johnsrud Sundby, Team Koteng/Eidissen fifth. Both of them were only less than eight seconds behind Mikael.
