Warner Bros. Discovery New Media Partner In Finland

by ProXCskiing • 29.11.2022
Ski Classics Pro Tour kicks off on December 10, in Bad Gastein, Austria. The upcoming Season XIV edition contains 14 events in 10 weekends. Warner Bros. Discovery is the new media partner in Finland and will broadcast all events live.

“Finland is a country where skiing has one of the greatest interests amongst the population, and 4 of our 35 licensed Pro Teams are from Finland. We look forward to this cooperation with Warner Bros Discovery to bring Ski Classics broadcasts to the Finnish audience,” says David Nilsson, CEO Ski Classics.

“The Ski Classics competitions bring to the screen not only familiar World Cup winners, but also the atmosphere of mass skiing events and wonderful scenery. The overlaps with the World Cup cross-country skiing competitions are minimal, so we hope that skiing fans will fully enjoy the widest Ski Classics visibility ever on free-to-air channels,” says Warner Bros. Discovery’s Sports Director Antti Haajanen.
