The 10-kilometer classic technique race at the World Championships in Trondheim will be Calle Halfvarsson’s main focus for the upcoming season: “In this stage of my career, it’s better to focus on one or two specific races,” says Halfvarsson.

Calle Halfvarsson has made up his mind, he’s aiming for the World Championships in Trondheim next March. And the newly minted father of two is also open to continuing for another two seasons after this. “At least one more year. Then there’s the Olympics in 2026 and the World Championships in Falun in 2027. It’s a dream to finish my career at home in Falun in three years,” Halfvarsson says.
“Just double-poling is not my thing. I have to use my legs,” says the Swedish cross-country skiing star, Calle Halfvarsson, after Klarälvsloppet.
Cale Halfvarsson leaves club Sågmyra SK and is ready for a return to IFK Mora. “We wish Calle the best of luck,” says Sågmyra’s chairman Mats Hellberg.
