Interval workouts are the training’s pinch of salt for competitive and recreational cross-country skiers. Skiing requires a lot of endurance training, and long workouts, especially in mass start long-distance skiing. However, more than basic aerobic endurance training is necessary to achieve results during the winter. To achieve good results, you also need sufficient interval training.
