More than 150 hours on roller skis and thirty days on the road. An average of 7 hours per day on the skis and only one day off. This was Erixon’s daily routine for the past month. He reflects on his journey with us and shares the trip’s most challenging and nicest parts.
Almost one month after leaving Southern Sweden, Fredrik Erixon will reach Barcelona today or tomorrow. For ProXCskiing.com, Erixon shares his feelings before reaching his ultimate goal.
On Friday, June 23, it’s been 26 days since Fredrik Erixon left Sweden. Now he is going to Perpignan, and the next big goal is to cross the Pyrénées to reach Spain.
Fredrik Erixon left Sweden on May 28. He’s now in Lyon and has done his longest stage with 143km to reach the second biggest city in France. Now the plan is to reach the coast and go straight to Spain.
Two weeks, three countries, and eleven days in Germany. That’s what Fredrik Erixon already achieved before arriving in France. Now the next goal is Spain!
After 12 days on roller skis, Fredrik Erixon’s journey through Germany is almost complete, even with a broken pole during the week.
Erixon covered over 160km on roller skis during the weekend, passing by both Hamburg and Hannover. Now that his photographer has returned to Sweden, the roller skier is alone.
Fredrik Erixon left Sweden 5 days ago, on Monday, May 29. After crossing Denmark, he reached Hamburg on Friday, June 2, and has already covered 415km. Unfortunately, Friday was also the day for his first crash.
Here we go; Erixon’s project started on Monday in Southern Sweden. After two days of roller skiing, Erixon is now in Denmark and plans to be in Germany by the end of the day. For ProXCskiing.com, he looks back on his first days on the road.
In 2020, he rollerskied through Sweden. Now, Fredrik Erixon sets out on his next rollerskiing journey, one Vasaloppet per day for 28 days: “It will be hard but fantastic,” says adventurer and entrepreneur Erixon.
