Finnish Team Kaskipuu’s Ski Classics season was successful by many measures, as Juuso MĂ€kelĂ€’s investment in long-distance showed in his good performances, and Oona Kettunen was able to ski top 10 finishes in her first Ski Classics season.Â
First Grand Classics race of the season, Marcialonga continues the Ski Classics Pro Tour on Sunday and is one of the season’s highlights. Team Kaskipuu’s Oona Kettunen and Juuso MĂ€kelĂ€ and Team NĂŠringsbanken Stora Enso’s Kati Roivas have had a solid start to the Ski Classics season.
This gang of seven is one of the four Finnish Pro Teams in Ski Classics. There is a lot of experience on this team, and they will fight tooth and nail for the title of the best Finnish Pro Team this season.
Last winter’s Finlandia Ski Marathon winner Oona Kettunen aims for long distances in Finnish Team Kaskipuu’s colors this season.Â
Juuso MÀkelÀ, the 28- year old Finnish skier who represents Team Kaskipuu in Ski Classics Pro Tour, is putting his total effort into long-distance skiing this winter.
Last winter, Team Kaskipuu took part in its first season in the Ski Classics Pro Tour. Next winter, the Pro Team plans to take a step forward.
Team Kaskipuu was the Finnish newcomer in the Visma Ski Classics Season XII. The Pro Team decided to join Ski Classics only late in the summer and the first Pro Tour season brought positive experiences.
Finnish Visma Ski Classics Pro Team, Team Kaskipuu, will be strengthened with three strong names for the final Pro Tour event of Season XII in YllÀs-Levi.
