Beijing Paralympics: Open and Mixed Relay Results

Two more gold medals were distributed on the last day of the para cross-country skiing events at the 2022 Beijing Winter Paralympic Games. Results from the open and mixed relay races.   

PARA CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING – OPEN RELAY

In the 4×2.5km open relay race, Ukraine, with Dmytro Suiarko (Oleksandr Nikonovych – guide), Grygorii Vovchynskyi, Vasyl Kravchuk, and Anatolii Kovalevskyi (Oleksandr Mukshyn – guide), won the gold medal with a total time of 28:05.3.

From France, Benjamin Daviet and Anthony Chalencon (Brice Ottonello – guide) skiing two times each during the race, secured the silver medal, with a time of 28:30.4.

Completing the podium with the bronze medal and a total time of 28:41.0, Kjartan Haugen (skiing twice), Vilde Nilsen, and Thomas Oxaal (Ole-Martin Lid – guide) from Norway.

Top 3 – Para Cross-Country Skiing – Open 4×2.5km Relay

  1. Ukraine (UKR), 28:05.3
  2. France (FRA), +25.1
  3. Norway (NOR), +35.7

PARA CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING – MIXED RELAY

In the 4×2.5km mixed relay race, Team USA with Oksana Masters, Sydney Peterson, Daniel Cnossen, and Jake Adicoff (Sam Wood – guide) won the gold medal with a total time of 25:59.3

From China, Yilin Shan, Chenyang Wang, Peng Zheng, and Jiayun Cai, secured the silver medal, with a time of 26:25.3.

Collin Cameron, Emily Young, Mark Arendz, and Natalie Wilkie, from Canada, completed the podium in third place with a time of 27:00.6 and secured the bronze medal.
