Canada surprises in Bruksvallarna

The Bruksvallarna Premiere continued today in Sweden with a 10km interval start race in freestyle technique for women and men. Check out the men’s results.

Olivier Leveille (CAN) took first place today in the Bruksvallarna men’s 10km freestyle race with a total time of 23:57.8. The Canadian traditional cross-country skier surprised all the Swedish skiers in the event, winning the freestyle race with a convincing performance.

Truls Gisselman (SWE) snagged second place, 10.2 seconds back, and Johan Ekberg (SWE) completed the podium in third place, 10.8 seconds behind the winner.

Bruksvallarna Premiere

Bruksvallsloppet 2024 in Bruksvallarna is the Swedish traditional cross-country skiing premiere, offering an exciting, high-caliber, three-day competition weekend with thrilling battles on the ski tracks.

The event weekend started on Friday, November 22, with a sprint race in freestyle technique. On Saturday, November 23, a 10km interval start event in classic technique awaited. On Sunday, November 24, the weekend ended with a 10km interval start freestyle race.
