After the season premiere in Finland, the 2024/2025 cross-country World Cup season continues this week in Lillehammer, Norway. The complete competition program is here.

Lillehammer, Norway, is the place for the second stage of the cross-country skiing World Cup season 2024/2025. The event starts on Friday, December 6, with a 10km interval start race in freestyle technique. On Saturday, December 7, it’s time for a sprint race in freestyle technique. And on Sunday, December 8, the World Cup in Lillehammer ends with a 20km skiathlon race.

  • 10:30 CET: 10km Individual F, Men
  • 12:45 CET: 10km Individual F, Women

Saturday, December 7: Sprint F (More information can be found HERE)

  • 9:00 CET: Sprint Quali F, Men  
  • 9:00 CET: Sprint Quali F, Women
  • 11:30 CET: Sprint Final F, Men
  • 11:30 CET: Sprint Final F, Women 

Sunday, December 8: 20km Skiathlon C/F (More information can be found HERE)

  • 10:00 CET: 20km Skiathlon C/F, Men
  • 12:15 CET: 20km Skiathlon C/F, Women

After Norway (Lillehammer), the World Cup heads to Switzerland (Davos) and then to the Tour de Ski (Italy). This period is followed by competitions in January in France (Les Rousses), Switzerland (Engadin), and Italy (Cogne).

Then, the World Cup heads to Sweden (Falun) in mid-February and Norway (Trondheim) for the World Championships at the end of February and beginning of March.  

After the World Championships, the World Cup ends the season with weekends in Norway (Oslo), Estonia (Tallinn), and Finland (Lahti).

Period III – After Tour de Ski and before World Championships

January 17-19: Les Rousses, France
Interval Start F / Sprint C / Mass Start C

January 24-26: Engadin, Switzerland
Mixed Relay / Sprint F / Interval Start F

January 31 – February 2: Cogne, Italy
Team Sprint C / Sprint C / Interval Start F

February 14-16: Falun, Sweden
