Östersund World Cup 10km Individual Start Freestyle – Men’s Race
In the men’s 10km freestyle race, we saw Harald Østberg Amundsen (NOR) taking home first place with a total time of 23:36.1. Simen Hegstad Krüger (NOR) snagged second place, 8.1 seconds back.
Didrik Tønseth (NOR) completed the podium in third place, 14.3 seconds behind the winner.
Iver Tildheim Andersen and Jan Thomas Jenssen, also from Norway, rounded out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.

After Östersund, the World Cup continues to Norway (Trondheim and Lillehammer). Then, the Tour de Ski starts in Italy (Toblach) a day before New Year’s Eve and finishes in Italy (Val Di Fiemme) after seven stages.
This period is followed by competitions in January in Germany (Oberhof) and Switzerland (Goms). Then, the World Cup heads to North America in February, first in Canada (Canmore) and then in the USA (Minneapolis).
After North America, the World Cup returns to Scandinavia to end the season with weekends in Finland (Lahti), Norway (Oslo and Drammen), and Sweden (Falun).
