Helen Hoffmann Gold At the Junior World Championships

The Junior and U23 World Cross-Country Ski Championships started today in Lygna, Norway, with the U20 women’s 15km Mass Start in free technique. Germany got the first gold.

Helen Hoffmann, from Germany, won today’s U20 women’s 15km mass start in free technique, conquering the first championships gold.

The German cross-country skier finished 2.6 seconds ahead of Swedish silver medalist Lisa Eriksson. From Norway, Tuva Anine Brusveen-Jensen finished 8.2 seconds back and got the bronze medal.
