Karlsson Wins The Pursuit At The World Cup In Ruka

Frida Karlsson and Ebba Andersson secured a one-two finish for Sweden in the women’s pursuit at Finland’s Ruka Cross-Country Skiing World Cup. Results from the women’s 20km freestyle pursuit race.

Frida Karlsson took home first place today on the last day of the Ruka World Cup Season 2022/2023. Ebba Andersson, also from Sweden, finished in second place, 33.3 seconds behind the winner.

Tiril Udnes Weng, from Norway, completed the podium in third place, 1 minute and 11.6 seconds back.

New this season is the same race distances for women and men in all World Cup events, as the International Ski & Snowboard Federation (FIS) decided in May. Several other changes have also been introduced to the World Cup.
