Northug And Stavås Skistad Sprint Winners At The Beitostølen Premiere

Event Northug and Kristine Stavås Skistad dominated the classic sprint races at the Norwegian premiere in Beitostølen. Results from the race.

In the men’s race, we saw Even Northug taking home first place. Håvard Solås Taugbøl snagged second place, and Sindre Bjørnestad Skar completed the podium in third place.

Kristine Stavås Skistad took home first place today at the Norwegian cross-country skiing premiere in the women’s sprint race. Lotta Udnes Weng snagged second place, and Tiril Udnes Weng completed the podium in third place.

  • Who: Senior skiers and invited juniors
  • Where: Beitostølen, Norway
  • What: The season’s first FIS cross-country skiing race in Norway
  •  Places for the World Cup premiere in Ruka and selection criteria for the World Cup round in Lillehammer on the first weekend in December.
