The first event of the World Cup season is taking place today, Friday, November 24, in Ruka, Finland, featuring a sprint race in classic technique. Marcus Grate (SWE) clocked the fastest time in the sprint qualifier. 

The top 30 skiers qualified for the sprint finals at the Ruka World Cup. The men’s sprint final starts at 12:30 CET.
