The World Cup premiere season 2024/2025 is taking place this weekend in Ruka, Finland. Here, you can find the program, start lists, and start times for Sunday’s 20km mass start races in freestyle technique. 

Ruka, Finland, is the place for this year’s cross-country skiing World Cup premiere. The event started on Friday, November 29, with a 10km interval start race in classic technique. On Saturday, November 30, a sprint race in classic technique awaited. And on Sunday, December 1, the World Cup premiere weekend ends with a 20km mass start race in freestyle technique.

*According to a press release from FIS, shortly before the start, Johannes Høsflot Klæbo (NOR) informed that he was not feeling good this morning and had decided not to race the mass start event. The Norwegian skier will not be replaced.

After Ruka, the World Cup heads to Norway (Lillehammer). Then, to Switzerland (Davos) and Tour de Ski (Italy). This period is followed by competitions in January in France (Les Rousses), Switzerland (Engadin), and Italy (Cogne).

Then, the World Cup heads to Sweden (Falun) in mid-February and Norway (Trondheim) for the World Championships at the end of February and beginning of March.  

After the World Championships, the World Cup ends the season with weekends in Norway (Oslo), Estonia (Tallinn), and Finland (Lahti).
