Shoreline Sprints And Distance Races This Week
The Shoreline Sprints & Distance brings the best of the winter in the summer, with two rollerski races this week in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, with athletes coming from across the USA and Canada, including 2022 Beijing Winter Olympians.
The rollerski event is organized by Out There Nordic in collaboration with international brands and local partners. The first edition was held in the summer of 2021 with a skate sprint in the program, and now the second edition is upgraded and will be a two-day event with a classic distance race and a skate sprint.
Tomorrow, Friday, July 8, Shoreline Sprints and Distance kicks off with a 16km classic race. Saturday, July 9, it’s time for the skate sprints, with a 1.4km course. Both races will take place in beautiful lake scenery.
