Simen Hegstad Krüger Wins The Men’s 15km Race At The World Championships In Planica
The man who won three distance medals at the World Championships in 2021, including a silver in the 15km freestyle and a gold at this year’s World’s skiathlon, proved himself again. Simen Hegstad Krüger took first place at today’s 15km race in freestyle technique, with a total time of 32:17.4.
The Norwegian cross-country skier was followed by his teammate Harald Østberg Amundsen, 5.3 seconds back.
Hans Christer Holund, completing the Norwegian podium, finished in third place, 24.6 seconds behind the winner.
Johannes Høsflot Klæbo, from Norway, and William Poromaa, from Sweden, round out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.
