All About the World Cup in Davos

By Ingeborg Scheve • 08.12.2021
Check out the details for the December 11 and 12 cross-country World Cup in Davos, Switzerland.

The FIS cross-country World Cup moves on to Davos, Switzerland, for two consecutive days of racing.

Saturday, December 11, features free technique (skate) sprint races for both men and women.

On Sunday, December 12, distance races are on the schedule for both men and women. These are 15 kilometers and 10 kilometers, respectively. The format is individual start and free technique.

The venue is located at 1560 meters above sea level, which makes Davos an ideal “precamp” for anyone aiming for the 2022 Olympics in February.

Heavy snow fall last week makes for perfect conditions for both sprint and distance events this weekend.
