Tour de France Femmes Stage 1

Tour de France Femmes, the women’s version of the historic Tour de France, started today in Paris. Lorena Wiebes (Team DSM) won the first of eight stages.

Tour de France Femmes stage 1 from Paris (Tour Eiffel) to Paris (Champs-Élysées) saw Lorena Wiebes (Team DSM) winning the 81.7km race ahead of Marianne Vos (Team Jumbo – Visma) and Lotte Kopecky (Team SD Worx). 

The women have eight stages this year in their Tour de France, with no rest days. The final and decisive stage will be held on Sunday, July 31, at the top of La Super Planche des Belles Filles, in the alps. 

There are 24 teams in this year’s Tour de France Femmes, with six riders on each team.
